Scanner Radio allows you to listen live to over 2,900 police and fire scanners, railroad communications, and weather radio broadcasts from around the world using your BlackBerry with more being added daily.
ATTENTION: A bug in an older version of AppWorld is preventing some people from being able to upgrade to the latest version they see a blank blue screen after clicking on the Upgrade button in AppWorld. If you experience this problem and your phone has notified you that a new version of AppWorld is available, first try upgrading to the newer version of AppWorld and then try upgrading Scanner Radio again. If you havent yet been notified about a new version of AppWorld being available then go into AppWorld, delete the Scanner Radio app, then type RST while holding down the Alt key this may take a few minutes, and then go back into AppWorld and reinstall Scanner Radio.

Configure alerts to have the app notify you when lots of people are listening to a scanner indicating that something big may be happening.
During the 7day free trial period youll have unlimited access to all of the scanners and weather radio stations.
After the trial period has ended youll continue to have unlimited access to the weather radio stations but access to the police and fire scanners will be restricted listening time will be limited to 515 minutes per Scanner Radio session unless the app has been purchased.
With your onetime purchase you get free upgrades forever and you can transfer your registration to newer BlackBerrys as many times as you need to.
