Bright Strobe and Flashlight
Uses video camera light as a flashlight and slow strobe light. Bundle of the apps Bright Strobe and Video Flashlight.
Strobe is not a fast "party strobe", and is similar to a battery-powered slow emergency strobe; typically the fastest rate possible is one flash every 2 to 3 seconds or slower on 9700. Strobe allows the battery to last much longer than a constant bright light, and is useful for marking a position or, for example, if you must walk close beside a road in darkness and want approaching cars to know youre there.
Video Flashlight gives you one-click activation of your video light as a flashlight and keeps it on, while leaving the default light mode off for video recording. Glowing status display, dims screen to save power, low-battery warning vibe.
** You can get a Red/White emergency flasher and SOS signal plus an automatic anti-flick-out feature for the flashlight on touchscreen models, in "Magnesium Flashlight and Emergency Lights" the strobe is also included.
Answers to Reviews:
"Doesnt work at all": Set permissions allow Interactions, and set video camera light Off by default.
Flashlight flashes on then off: Set light Off by default in the video camera. When you want it On for video recording, you can toggle it on without changing the default setting by pressing Space on keyboard models, or by downloading Camera Light Toggle for Storm.
Allegations of flashlight fouling up video app or phone: There was a font selection issue causing it not to work on some Tour models, but that has been resolved. It cant foul up the video app or the phone itself.
