Blood Pressure Diary – Application For People Suffering From Hypertension
Blood Pressure Diary is designed to help people with hypertension also known as a high blood pressure.
The patient should enter blood pressure readings as frequently as possible. It is possible to enter any date and any time of the reading – just move the trackball/trackpad left or right to change the default value BlackBerry Storm™ users – tap the left or right triangular bracket.
The application displays charts and history of entered values. The charts may be exported to the Pictures folder of the mobile phone. They may be transferred later to your computer, sent by email or Bluetooth.
It is possible to save the history of measurements as a CSV comma separated values file in the phone memory. That file can be transferred to a computer and opened using any spreadsheet software for example, MS Excel.
It is very important to show or email readings history or charts to your doctor.
The user interface of this application is very user-friendly and looks good. Both standard having keyboard and touch screen BlackBerry smartphones are supported. Landscape and portrait device orientations are supported.

– Blood pulse e.g. 68 heart beats/minute can be entered; the pulse is visible on the chart.
– Any notes can be attached when entering new measurement results e.g. information about medicines taken.
– A new option to quickly remove the measurement with the latest date and time.

– Any date, time and value can be entered by hand, for example: 15:07, 15-Jan-2008, 129/89 – just tap in the middle of the date/time/value button or press the trackball or the trackpad when the button is selected.
– It is possible to remove entered data – to do it, select the "Remove Data" button, choose any period for example: 15-Jan-2010 – 29-Jan-2010 and press the "Remove" button.
– The application is securely signed.
