Whats up DEMO

Version 1.0.1 of Stars for BlackBerry PlayBook is the demo version of Whats up. Do not download this app if you have already purchased Whats up. This edition does not allow you to use pinchtozoom or certain other advanced features after the 5day demo period ends. One of the features you will lose is the powerful search engine. This tool allows you to, for example, determine the brightest objects that are currently above the horizon. These objects are visible even in large cities with extreme light polution conditions. But you probably wont see them if you dont know exactly where to look. Get this app if you want to impress your friends with your profound knowledge of astronomy. Now everyone can be an expert!

This update represents a complete rewrite to address the many technical and usability issues present in the beta offering. The application shows the realtime positions of the Sun, Moon, planets and the 5000 brightest stars. It is easy to set up, works anywhere on the planet and does not need an internet connection to perform its main function.

This free edition includes a 5day DEMO of some of the advanced features found in the premium edition. The advanced features will be turned off and the app will revert back to basic nofrills functionality at the end of this period.

To download the premium version, find Whats up in App World or search for skymap.
