India Calendar 2012

IndiaCalendar2012 v1.0.1 is a thrifty little app that embed all lunar religious dates in your devices calendar. Extremely helpful in not forgetting any Indian traditional dates anymore in this fast paced world. People living outside India will love it as will within India too as its not always easy to remember these dates in the fast lifestyle of current times.

It embeds the events of all important dates that people in India normally need for certain holidays or rituals for housewives and other important ocassions.

It uses the lunar calendar as is used by Hindu, Islamic and Sikh traditions.

This app enters the events in the Blackberry devices calendar as any other scheduled event. The events can be entered or deleted as a whole or from the current date.

There is NO extra calendar module added or there is no need to keep internet enabled to be able to use it. It is very device memory friendly.

It embeds events for all major festivals and dates which are normally needed by a traditional Indian person such as Ekadasi, Amavasya, Holi, Diwali, etc which someone living outside of India may not remember all the time.

It will work on all devices having OS 4.5 and above meaning, mostly all devices right from earliest BlackBerry to fairly latest. It has yet NOT been tested on BlackBerry pad PlayBook or devices with OS7. Speaking from a technical perspective it should work on PlayBook or ones with OS7, but we do not take any responsibility if it doesnt for some reason.
