Designed for photographing stars, StarCapture recreates the effect of leaving the camera aperture open for a long time by taking a large number of photographs and combining them into one, increasing the brightness of faint objects. Also works to take enhanced photos in low light condition, or to create neat blur effects when shooting a moving target.

Enter the number of photos to take more photos increases the quality, and the delay between photos. Start the camera and position the BlackBerry PlayBook, ensuring it will remain still during the photoshoot. Tap the screen and press start to begin your shoot.

Once the photo is complete, you can adjust your image using the filters. Scene brightens the image, and is suitable for images taken in low light. Starlight is a filter specifically designed to enhance nighttime images of stars. Once done, StarCapture lets you save your image.
