ReelPortal Video Chat and Conference

ReelPortal is a video chat and conferencing app for the BlackBerry PlayBook. Designed to work with multiple platforms, its features include:

No account/registration required
Video conference with multiple friends
Join a public room, or create your own locked private room
Supports both p2p and client/server connections
Persistent connection allows switching between wireless networks on the fly

ReelPortal is roomcentric. You automatically connect to everyone in a room when you enter it. No need to call them individually.

Meeting on ReelPortal is similar to doing a teleconference: schedule a time and room. When participants sign on, you see/hear them right away.

IMPORTANT: Carefully consider the number of outgoing and incoming streams your device and network are capable of. If lagging, set resolution to 320×240.

NOTE: ReelPortal for Playbook only works with ReelPortal app on other platforms Android/iPhone/iPad/Windows/Mac/Linux. It does not work with Skype, FaceTime, Qik, Oovoo, Tango, Fring, etc. Do not download it if you are already happy with those other programs.

NOTE 2: If you cant call, cant see, cant hear, you obviously did NOT read the instructions!
