Calculate your curling teams shooting percentages using this free, easytouse, shot scoring app. Curling Stats will let you save your teams curling shots in a game, allow you to revisit your game performances, find weak points in your teams curling game, and help you track your teams shooting ability in general.
By saving and scoring your teams curling shots, Curling Stats will calculate and generate the shooting percentages just like on TV for each curler on your team. A shooting percentage is a statistical value used to determine how well a curler is throwing in a game; on their hits, draws, takeouts, freezes, etc., and whether or not they are making the called shots in a game. It can be used as an effective coaching tool, allowing you to easily measure your teams shooting ability, and to find a curlers weak and strong points of their shooting game.
Curling Stats is designed to receive score input efficiently, so that scores can be saved quickly, in between taking shots during a curling game. With this design, the app lets you save your shots using three variables: the type of turn inturn or outturn, the type of shot draw, peel, freeze, etc, and the shot score rating outof4. These three variables are entered on the BlackBerry keypad using just three keystrokes, allowing you to easily save a shot within seconds, in the moments between throwing your team rocks.
If you are a fan of both curling and statistics, this app provides an easy way for you to add numbers to your teams curling game and to easily track your teams progress. The app will give you all the details and statistics needed to help you track and improve your game shooting ability. However, if you are only a casual fan of curling, this app can still provide a fun, statistics element to your game.
