Marine Weather – Pacific Coast
This application is for the US Pacific Coast and British Columbia, Canada mariner.
This application provides internet links via the BlackBerry browser to current weather conditions, wave heights, wave periods, surface winds as well as sea surface temperature which are presented graphically. Additionally, the same wave presentations are presented for 24 and 48 hours into the future. Animated, High resolution radar imagery for locations from Seattle to San Diego, out to ~100 miles, as well as Animated national radar displays with weather warning watch boxes and weather warning displays plus a full suite of satellite imagery is provided including Goes West Gulf of Alaska Vis, IR and WV.
Extensive text based forecasts, messages, statements, warnings, Buoy reports US Tide tables are also provided.
In addition,a Tsunami statement and warning link is included just in case!
