TAXINOW, the fastest way to request a taxi!

TAXINOW is the new application for BlackBerry developed by Promptu Systems Corporation that allows calling a taxi in an easy and fast way, avoiding waiting on the phone to speak with an operator.

Thanks to an innovative voice recognition system, you just need only speak the city and address of where you are and the taxi request is immediately sent to the nearest available taxi. Once the request has been accepted by the taxi driver, TAXINOW let?s you know in how many minutes the taxi will come and pick you up.

Roma, Milano, Firenze, Bologna, Genova e Padova are the cities where TAXINOW is available for the moment. In all other cities where the service is not fully available, TAXINOW gives you the phone numbers of local taxi companies that can be called in the traditional way, directly from the application.

Functionalty:
TAXINOW allows you to request a taxi with special features: fare payment with credit card, a taxi for 5 or 6 passengers, or for extra luggage
TAXINOW keeps a record of the last 10 requests
TAXINOW allows you to save up to 20 favorites pick up locations

Costs:
TAXINOW is free for a 30day trial period in which an unlimited number of taxis can be requested. After the trial period, 1 Euro will be charged directly on your phone bill or on your phone credit for each additional taxi request.
