With BackLighter from LCA Mobile Inc. you can lock your backlight on from inside almost any App on your device.

Great for IM, BlackBerry Messenger, screen reading, and anytime you want your Backlight ON.

BackLighters lightbulb icon turns ON and OFF with the backlight so you can easily tell when its active.

Optionally adds a menu item throughout your entire BlackBerry to quickly toggle BackLighter on or off with one click. If you choose not to use the menu item, you can still access BackLighter quickly from the Switch Application menu at any time.

Conserve battery by setting your main backlight timer to the minimum
10 seconds, then use the quick and easy BackLighter menu to keep it on only when you need it.

User configurable maximum Backlight time from 1 minute to 2 hours can prevent accidental battery drain from forgetting to turn it off.

Optional low battery shutdown can automatically disable BackLighter when your battery drops below a user configured percentage.

Does not interfere with normal in Holster operation of your device.

Can optionally run automatically on device startup to ensure that you will always have control over your BackLight.
