AntiRotation for touchscreen models adds menu options to most application menus to partially or fully lock the orientation, or unlock it again.

Lock Rotation:
Attempt to lock the display in its current orientation, allowing no rotation at all.

Lock Dimensions:
Attempt to lock the displays current dimensions, allowing it to flip the opposite way but not rotate in between.

Free Rotation:
Attempt to release the display to rotate in all directions.

Tests have shown that NoRo is effective with many apps, including the BlackBerry Browser, but does not work with all apps or in all situations, and some apps unlock the rotation again at times while running.

Many times your setting will persist between uses of an app, but that can depend on whether you open it in the orientation that it was locked in. Settings do not survive resets.
