ProDictate mobile is a mobile dictation solution which enhances smartphones with professional dictaphone functionality, reducing the effort and steps involved in recording and processing dictation for medical practices, law offices, hospitals and insurance companies, simply and at low cost. After the system software has been installed, dictation can be conveniently recorded and sent my email, facilitated with the simple menu system and by using either the keypad or the mouse.

Use the existing network infrastructure

Once recorded and processed, dictation can be sent to existing digital dictation systems by UMTS, WLAN, GPRS or email. Automatic data import by the server ensures that dictation is instantly available to transcriptionists. This saves time and processing steps and also reduces operating expenses thanks to faster and improved workflow.

More productivity, efficiency and mobility

Builtin dictation processing functions meet every possible need. In addition to recording and playback, fastforward, rewind, flag setting, delete and insert are all standard functions, all easy to control with the mouse or telephone keypad. Key assignment depends on the BlackBerry model used and is controlled by default via the numeric keypad.

Once created, the dictation is saved in AMR format. The minimal AMR file size is a key advantage compared with WAV files. One minute of dictation requires about 86 KB, enabling fast data transmission with attendant cost savings.
