KUHF Houston Public Radio exists to serve its listeners as a community resource for news and information, arts and culture. The station offers three channels of broadcast services KUHF News, KUHF Classical and KUHF Global.

KUHF is a fully professional radio service affiliated with National Public Radio NPR and certified by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. KUHF is supported financially by its listenermembers and is licensed to the Board of Regents of the University of Houston and is operated in the public interest as an outreach to the greater Houston community.
