Tioga County is home to Pine Creek Gorge otherwise known as Pennsylvanias Grand Canyon. Surrounded by 165,000 acres of the state forest, the Gorge is a truly pristine area to visit. Outdoor activities abound horseback riding, canoeing, rafting, hiking, biking, crosscountry skiing, fishing, hunting, and even a covered wagon ride and excursion train!

Cyclists love the Pine Creek Rail Trail voted one of the 10 great places to take a bike tour by USA Today. This 60 plusmile long trail with a 2% grade over its entire length travels through the Gorge. The trail is a hardpacked gravel surface available to hikers and bikers with a section just for the equestrians.

Tioga County is also home to seven lakes for fishing, swimming, and water sports. Along with beautiful landscape you can enjoy festivals and arts, scenic driving tours, unique shopping, and dining.
