The WiFi Comrade conserves your BlackBerry battery life by turning WiFi off when it is not needed.

The WiFi Comrade operates by monitoring the BlackBerrys connection to the cellular network. By remembering the unique ID transmitted by each cell tower, WiFi Comrade can determine the BlackBerrys current location. WiFi Comrade uses these locations to infer when WiFi connectivity is available and when it is not.

The WiFi Comrade has the following features:

Stores an unlimited number of WiFi zones
Turns WiFi on when a known WiFi zone is detected
