Bible app is a simple-to-use application for reading the Holy Bible. It not only contains the entire 66 books of the Bible, but it also contains verse-by-verse commentaries and a 52-weeks reading plan to aid your study of Scripture.
Features:
– Based on the American King James Version AKJV. AKJV is a translation of the Bible based on the original King James Version. AKJV updates the archaic words e.g., thou, believeth, or thence with more modern words e.g., you, believe, or there so that it will be easier to understand and read. There is no change in grammar or in sentence structures.
– Contains both the New Testament and the Old Testament.
– Verse-by-verse commentaries from Matthew Henrys "Concise Commentary on the Bible". Commentaries are organized by chapters for easy and quick reference. Matthew Henry is well known for his exhaustive explanations of the Bible for practical and devotional purposes.
– Offline use. All text are stored in your device when you installed the application. So you can read and study your Bible even when there is no Internet connection.
– Easy navigation. A "Next" and "Previous" button at the top of the screen allows easy navigation between chapters. A "Study Tool" button on every chapter brings up the corresponding commentaries for the chapter.
– Favorites. You can bookmark chapters so that you can easily come back to those chapters.
– 52 Weeks Bible Reading Plan. The plan is organized by weeks instead of by days for flexibility. The readings every week include chapters from both the Old Testament and the New Testament chapters from Psalm and Book of Poetry are included every week.
– Reading Plan progress tracker. You can easily mark the weeks for which you have finished reading the chapters.
– Settings to configure the font size and text color.
