Elements: The Periodic Table

Elements is an interactive Periodic Table of the Elements specifically crafted for your new BlackBerry PlayBook.

It features the first 118 elements from Hydrogen to Ununoctium. Each element will reveal element specific information upon your touch, including the atomic weight, density, and melting points. You can also swipe side to side to change the selected element.

If you still crave more information, you can then access the Additional Information tab to quickly access articles on your current element from popular, web based, resources such as Web Elements, Wikipedia, Wolfram Alpha, and Chemicool.

You can also access the menu by swiping down on the top bezel of your shiny new BlackBerry PlayBook where you can activate extra modes such as the Long Table, where the Lanthanides & Actinides are inserted into the table where they were always meant to be.

You can also enable the Search-bar, which lets you conduct a search through the names, symbols, and atomic numbers of every single element of the periodic table, and even perform multiple searches at once by separating each query by a space. Additionally, List-mode lets you completely replace the Periodic Table of Elements with a List of Elements, which you can scroll and search through.

If thats not all, Elements icon is He, so whenever you open your BlackBerry PlayBooks app drawer you will be reminded of your favourite Noble Gas.

If you have any comments, or manage to spot any inaccuracies within the data that I may have missed, or just dont like Helium, leave a review and/or send me an email.
