Food Journal

Keep a diary of what you eat with the Food Journal! This application allows you to store your meal item and tag it against different meal types Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Drink, Snack. You can even use the built-in nutritional information database to look up the nutritional facts of the item you ate and use that to quickly and easily enter data.

The following information can be stored for a meal item:
* Meal
* Item
* Portion
* Calories
* Protein
* Fat
* Carbs
* Sodium
* Fiber
* Other a field of your choosing

Once youve entered data simply go to the summary view to access all the items that youve consumed during a given day, youll also find a daily calorie total below the list of all the consumed items. If you wish to view the individual nutritional information simply click on the desired item in the list otherwise click on the nutritional graph side button to give you a graphical representation of your daily total Note: these values are based on a 2000 calorie diet

Finally a BMR and BMI calculator have been included to give you an idea of what you should be consuming in a day.

*** Tip ***

If you performed a search in the database and did not consume the stardard portion size simply type the consumed portion size in the searchs portion size text box before accepting the items value and Food Journal will automatically calculate the nutrional information for you
