PhoneFinder is a simple and efficient application that helps you to find a lost or stolen BlackBerry. The application runs in the background and can use GPS, cell towers or a combination of both to pinpoint the location of your phone.

The PhoneFinder application runs on SameCell location technologies that have been in service since 2006 and leverages a database with over 1,000,000 global cell towers.

Note: location accuracy is dependent on the phones GPS capability. GPS devices do not work well within buildings and other areas where line of site to GPS satellites is restricted. In these cases, an approximate position is derived from SameCells cell tower based positioning technology and last known GPS position.
