Plinkey Virtual Piano

This app provides a 2octave keyboard with MiddleC indicated, and will play the note clicked on by the pointing device. It also has a glissando mode for playing the keys as the pointer slides over them.

There is also a QWERTY mode that maps the keys on the home row of the device keyboard to the keys on the piano. In this mode, all 88 keys on the piano are selectedable using a patentpending Octave Optimizer TM that guesses which octave you want to play. This may be overridden by the user. This virtual piano is meant to be used as a part of the full suite of tools called Plinkey Deluxe, which features a textbased interface only because users typically use a tactile keyboard to control its functions while they are singing and not looking at the screen.

Listen on the BlackBerry speaker or through ear buds or STEREO Bluetooth. May be amplified using earphone output. The note plays continuously until stopped or another key is pressed for a different string. Instructions are included.
