The Retirement Countdown app for the PlayBook is a userfriendly app that allows you to enter your anticipated retirement date and then view the number of years, days, hours, minutes and seconds until this date. There is also a to do feature.

You can customize the display to view the time remaining in several formats. You can eliminate the display of years so that the remaining time is displayed in total days. You can also eliminate the display of hours, minutes and seconds. It is fun to watch the seconds and minutes tick down, but eliminating the display of seconds and minutes saves resources, which extends battery life.

Your retirement date can be entered in one of two ways. You can enter the actual date, or enter your current age and your desired age of retirement.
